Had to leave our wonderful dog sitter behind in Chicago when we moved to Boston, and I was initially hesitant to leave our 2 year old golden retriever Dizzy with someone new - but Nicky has become family.
She took her time to understand Dizzy's needs (including a very detailed conversation on his complicated health history and current medications) before meeting us. Dizzy LOVES going on walks with her. She's super professional and cares a ton for her clients and their pets. She's incredibly detail oriented, responsive, and attentive (even remembering to ask about eye drops that I had forgotten for Dizzy).
Highly recommend her for your dog walking and dog sitting needs. We trust her 110%!

I don't visit the store much but I use their pet-sitting service every time I'm out of town. They are simply the best. Conscientious, excellent communication, reasonable pricing, everything you could ask for in a pet-sitter. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone I know!

Nicky has been amazing! I was quite stressed trying to find a Dog Walker/Sitter for my rescue dog who needs special attention at times. Nicky came to our home to meet my dog Mabel and has been fantastic ever since. She is great at communicating with you and gives very thorough updates on your pet. I could not recommend her more!

I got the same great service that my friend did. My experiences with other companies really highlight how great Bark by the Park is. It's a neighborhood business run by people who really care about pets. Their app makes communication super easy & they send the cutest reports with pictures. Nicky is wonderful & is very thorough and detail-oriented. If you're looking for a new pet sitter (or aren't super happy with your current sitters), definitely give Bark by the Park a try!

When I lived in Chicago, Nicky and her team were my dedicated dog walkers and truly they were fantastic. I’m always careful with who I entrust to take care of my pup, and I knew I could always count on them. Not only that, but the shop has all the essentials for a dog parent. I loved that Bark by the Park frequently partnered with local dog supply / accessory vendors, and they always had the best supply of toys and treats for my girl. 14/10 would recommend this shop!
